Hey Theo, I just wanted to let you know that I'm winning this week and your help has been key in setting me off in a winning direction. I'm juggling lots of shit without overload, speaking important truths and forming a real plan. I have a sense of my own power. I understand more about how my brain works and malfunctions. I'm ready to report abuse and can see a path to putting it behind me as I grow stronger from the process. You've been such a big help on this long and winding road. Thankyou

The journey that I have been on with Theo helped me to become a more effective activist, and importantly it made activism for me to be much more enjoyable and less likely to lead to burnout.
Working with Theo also gave me the confidence to run fun and engaging workshops on the issues that I am passionate about, including sustainable planning and food ethics. This confidence, together with the systemic and behavioural change issues that I discussed with Theo, helped lead me to develop the Town Planning Rebellion and Holistic Activism movements.

I've attended both the introductory and follow-up emotional processing workshops, and highly recommend them. Theo holds the space with open humour and kindness, guiding you through the process with ease and expertise. The process itself follows a natural logic, working through all the hidden corners of the troubling emotions and the issues which have caused them, bringing a greater understanding and inner compassion to your dealings with yourself and with others. I've invariably left these workshops with not only a feeling of hope and calm, but knowing that I've done real work in increasing my own emotional understanding which I know how to continue in my daily life. tldr: 10/10, would emote again.

I've been trying for years to get my business up and running, without much success. I found it challenging to keep focus and momentum going, especially with so many people telling me what I hope to achieve is "too much" or "too radical!" But Theo has encouraged me to follow my intuition and take my business where I need it to go, instead of going with what is expected. It has been quite liberating actually.
With Theos guidance and enthusiasm for what I am trying to achieve I have been able to launch my website, start booking clients and get clear on my purpose. Having support to cost my services appropriately has meant I am now charging a sustainable wage to support myself and my family.
Theos direction and knowledge has been invaluable. Especially in those crisis of faith moments.

I joined Theo's Liberating Logic course as I had been struggling with the end of a toxic relationship which had damaged my self confidence. I also had some family issues I was dealing with, and I was living in a precarious housing situation. All of these factors contributed to my experiencing some generalised anxiety, ruminating thoughts and a diminished sense of self. The emotional work I did with Theo through the duration of the course helped me to rebuild my confidence in how I was feeling, and taught me how to work through difficult emotions as they emerged, rather than reacting on “auto-pilot” or letting them overwhelm me.
Theo created a safe space for emotions to be felt and processed, as well as talked from a more theoretical and psychological perspective. There was a lot of really useful content covered, and it was addressed in a logical and well-paced fashion. I found Theo's approach to be gentle and non-judgemental and her communication was clear and articulate.
Overall, I found the course to be really helpful in providing a framework for how to understand, appropriately feel, process and communicate about or around difficult emotions, which has given me a greater capacity to deal with life and overcome challenges.
As I continue to use these tools into the future, especially those around noticing and effectively embodying emotions as they arise, I expect that my ability to self-regulate and clearly communicate how I am experiencing the world around me will facilitate closer relationships with other people as well a greater sense of inner resilience and calm.

Theo is an exciting and radical strategic thinker. After over a decade of working on social change via radical grass roots organizing, she has come to understand that deep psychological problems often block attempts at social change. She has become committed to working on these issues to enable more effective action.
My first encounters with Theo were at national conferences of Students of Sustainability. Theo organized workshops and participated in forums, explaining the necessity for system change to bring about a sustainable society. Her workshops were engaging and participatory, with the assembled student participants being energised and challenged to think through things in a new way.
Since these meetings I have collaborated with Theo in a number of presentations to a variety of audiences. I have also had many discussions with her on the problems of left social movements in the present period. Her perspective is original and perceptive. People who engage with Theo’s work are likely to be able to tackle problems with a fresh enthusiasm and useful insights.
While Theo has a sharp intellect and critical imagination, she is also kind and sympathetic, listening with interest and helpful analysis to the problems faced by those who come to her for advice.

Theo's learnings about how to work through the emotional issues that constrain our ability to make this a better world are really valuable because they're hard earned from personal experience, honed by a mind that is gifted at simplifying complex processes into doable steps, and motivated by a heart that is impelled to help others. I feel heard and understood by Theo, and supported with helpful techniques to overcome personal challenges that I'm dealing with in the pursuit of offering what I love to do in service to the world.

Having taken the Liberating Logic course, I can honestly say that my life has changed for the better. The course has given me a really practical set of tools to help work with my emotions to get to the core of my struggles. In my case, one of the biggest challenges was working through my messy inferiority complex. Using the tools to express my emotions opened up a dialogue between my conscious self and past traumatic experiences. Through emotional expression work, I enabled the opportunity to process the trauma in a far healthier way. The result has been that I live less and less in the quiet pain of self-judgement, comparison and shame that an inferiority complex triggers in my daily life.

Covid hit my business hard, as it did for many others. Theo helped me prioritise how I would work through it with minimal damage. And it's been working!
Theo is truly adept in the art of business advice. As the owner/ operator of a small business, Theo has helped me to implement multiple strategies which have not only improved the way I understand my own turnover, she's helped me improve the way I organise my profits, advertising and overhead costs.
I have also attended Theo’s political workshops in the past and I found them to be highly insightful. I also really appreciate that although we have completely different political beliefs and ways of living, she isn't judgemental and can still find ways to be helpful and can still convey what she's saying on a level where I give a shit.
Theo has a calm and collected matter of fact vibe when they discuss in detail everything to take into account. Theo is patient and determined and has a really broad way of attacking an issue. She's literally a human troubleshooter!

I signed up to Liberating Logic with Theo because I'd been feeling so overwhelmed and anxious that I found it hard to decide what to do or what I wanted. In the past I haven't wanted to do any courses like these, as I haven't see myself as needing them - I had a good childhood with loving parents and haven't had any major traumas, but somehow I was still struggling to commit to life. I'm really glad I signed up though, as I can now see that I do have trauma, everyone does in the modern world, and I now know how to work on healing it and why it's worth doing the work.
The course helped me learn that I've been avoiding feeling my emotions, and so the emotions weren't being processed or resolved. So they had to find other ways of influencing me, which mostly meant feeling unsafe and withdrawing, and not really enjoying my life a lot of the time!
The course provided me with a set of tools and practices that I can now use to explore my feelings and behaviours, so I can continue to explore ways of meeting my needs. I keep having new insights about myself and my life, making changes, and finding that things are slowly getting better. The process is sometimes painful and confusing as it can feel like taking steps backwards to step forwards, but it's definitely working overall.
I felt that Theo's knowledge and experience made the course really worthwhile, showing how the different techniques worked, demonstrating what it looks like in practice and helping guide us on our first steps. I would highly recommend Theo's work to anyone who is willing to explore their feelings and behaviours and learn to apply new skills to live a more enjoyable and fulfilling life.
